APHC leader visits Samba, meets rain affectees

Jammu, August 09, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader, Advocate Davender Singh Behl, along with a delegation visited Samba district and met with the members of Muslim Gujjar community whose homes were damaged during recent rains.

Advocate Davender Singh Behl expressed solidarity with the rain affectees and appealed to the people of the area to come forward to help them.

Speaking on the occasion, he also shed light on the Kashmir dispute and urged India and Pakistan to start meaningful negotiations to resolve it so that lasting peace can be established in South Asia. He reiterated the demand for the immediate release of Kashmiris including Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of IIOJK and India.

Advocate Devendra Singh also called for the opening of the RS Pura-Sialkot road, saying that the move will not only give the people of both parts of Jammu and Kashmir the opportunity to trade, but also allow the members of divided families to meet each other.

The delegation included Lal Din, Chaudhry Rashid, Chaudhry Manjar, Chaudhry Liaquat, Chaudhry Imran, Sardar Gurcharan Singh, Manjeet Singh and others.
