Rescue operations in flood affected areas continues: Farah

QUETTA: Farah Azeem Shah, Spokesperson for provincial government, has said that after the rescue and relief activities, operations for rehabilitation of flood affected families was in progress.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Saturday, she said that devastation of flood was still going on in the province. She said, “Unemployment is the biggest challenge, hence, measures were being adopted to provide job opportunities to unemployed girls and boy students of the province.

She added that it was being contemplated to grant interest free loans to the women for their welfare. Condemning the incident with Federal Minister for Information, Maryum Aurangzaib in UK, she said, “Women protest against incident occurred with Maryum Aurangzaib, Federal Minister for Information”.

In reply to a question about the protest sit-in of the students of University of Balochistan against entry test in the University of Balochistan, she said that the incumbent provincial government was striving to accede to the genuine demands of students. She said that Pak-Army had played a pivotal role for maintaining law and order situation in Pakistan
