QUETTA: Gwalmandi police claimed to have recovered a child confined in the basement of a warehouse in an operation conducted in the Gwalmandi area of Quetta city on Friday.
According to detail, one person namely Mira Khan son of Lal Muhammad lodged an FIR in Gwalmandi Police Station Quetta, stating that his grandson Taflak Ahmed son of Muhammad Adil had been kept in the basement of a warehouse.
Accordingly, staff of Police Station Gwalmandi, Quetta led by Khalid Hussain, Station House Officer (SHO), Police Station, Gwalmandi raided a warehouse and found the said child kept in the basement of the said warehouse.
Two alleged accused namely Abdul Hadi son of Shah Mir and Shah Mir son of Muhammad Alam were arrested during the operation and accordingly booked in FIR No. 188/22 under section 342-34. The alleged accused were handed over to the Investigation Staff of Police Station Gwalmandi for further investigation.
