QUETTA:Bijli road police on Sunday claimed to have seized 14kg hashish in an operation conducted at Lakit Road within the precincts of Police Station Bijli Road in Quetta. One alleged accused was also apprehended during the operation.
Following the directions of SSP Quetta, Abdul Haq Umrani, the staff of Police Station Bijli Road under the supervision of Allah Wasaya, Station House Officer (SHO), found a suspicious person carrying a bag at Lakit Road area within the jurisdiction of Police Station Bijli Road. Upon searching the bag, 14kg hashish was recovered from the bag.
One accused Muhammad Naeem, son of Abdul Malik Achakzai, resident of Abdul Rehmanzai, district Killa Abdullah, who confessed smuggling the hashish to Multan, was apprehended during the operation. First Information Report No. 29/2022 under section 9C/CNS Act was lodged against the alleged accused. Further investigation was being conducted by the Investigation Staff of Police Station Bijli Road Quetta.
