Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has invited Governor Faisal Karim Kundi to attend a Grand Jirga aimed at discussing the province’s political and security issues.
Governor Kundi has accepted the invitation, postponing all his engagements in Islamabad, and traveled to Peshawar for the event. Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi will also attend the Jirga, which is being held at the Chief Minister’s House.
The Jirga will bring together members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, political party leaders, and tribal elders. The meeting seeks to reach a consensus on an action plan to address the current situation in the province.
