In a simple yet dignified ceremony at the Governor House, Governor Sindh and Chancellor Kamran Khan Tessori today awarded an honorary doctorate degree to renowned scholar Dr. Zakir Naik on behalf of the University of Karachi.
The special convocation was attended by consuls general from various countries, along with the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Deans, professors, and a large number of faculty members.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori extended his congratulations to Dr. Zakir Naik for receiving the honorary doctorate degree. He highlighted that the degree was awarded in recognition of Dr. Naik’s significant contributions. Governor Tessori further noted that Dr. Zakir Naik, a globally acclaimed scholar, has delivered thousands of lectures worldwide and holds immense popularity within Muslim communities. He has also participated in numerous debates and discussions.
The Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori expressed his confidence that Dr. Zakir Naik will continue his valuable work in the same manner.
