Khairpur police on Monday claimed to have arrested four murder accused, including the main culprit, along with the recovery of a weapon.
According to a Khairpur police report, the arrests came on the swift action ordered by SSP Khairpur in the murder case of Aashiq Ali Sakani, who was killed over a land dispute.
Acting on SSP Khairpur’s directives, DSP Kotdiji and SHO Kumb launched an immediate operation. The police apprehended accuded Sajawal, Daulat, Abdul Ghafoor, and Naveed Sakani, recovering a pistol reportedly used in the murder crime.
According to initial reports, the victim and the accused are close relatives. The police confirmed the killing was motivated by an ongoing property dispute.
Further investigation was underway to determine the complete circumstances surrounding the incident.
