Muggers loot to persons near Makli

Unidentified armed robbers looted two persons separately near Makli on Thursday.

According to a police report, the robbers snatched a motorcycle, an expensive mobile phone, and thousands of rupees in cash from Shah Jahan Palari, a resident of Makli.

Separately, in a similar incident near the N3 petrol pump on the Makli Bypass, armed robbers seized a motorcycle from a young man.

Both incidents have been reported at the local police stations in Makli and Thatta; however, it is with regret that no significant action has been taken by the authorities so far. This inaction has sparked widespread frustration among residents, who are now calling for the swift recovery of stolen items and an increased police presence on the streets.

The citizens have urged the authorities to enhance mobile patrols to ensure the safety and security of the public, who continue to feel vulnerable in the face of such criminal activities.
