JUI-F leader assails nepotism in health jobs

A spokesman for Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) in Noshki today denounced the recent hiring practices of the health department, alleging nepotism in the appointment of candidates to the local vacant positions.

Hafiz Obaidullah Gorgech, the spokesman, claimed that the department favored relatives of its recruitment committee members over qualified candidates. He called the appointments ‘unacceptable’ and urged authorities to intervene.

‘Deserving candidates who met all the requirements were overlooked,’ Gorgech said in a statement. ‘The appointment orders should be canceled, and the process should be conducted on the basis of merit.’

The allegations have raised concerns about transparency and fairness in public sector recruitment, with calls for reforms to address such practices.
