The Northern Bypass Cattle Market marked its tenth day with an influx of livestock, including a consignment of 60 Sahiwalbreed calves, arriving from Kandiaro.
This steady flow continues as traders from various regions prepare for EidulAdha.
Traders from Naushahro Feroze, Nawabshah, Khairpur, Kandhkot, and Kashmor have contributed to the burgeoning market. Notably, Noor Zada Balkani from Kandhkot traded 10 animals at prices from Rs500,000 to Rs1 million.
Despite road closures near Sukkur, a cattle trader expressed relief at reaching the market with animals weighing between 4 to 8 mounds. Additionally, preparations for accommodating premium heavy animals in VIP blocks are nearing completion, with hotels and stalls set up to support both traders and buyers.
