The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood, has urged Kashmiris residing in the UK to bring the ongoing atrocities in Indianoccupied Kashmir to the attention of the international community. He emphasized that Kashmiris should unite to expose the injustices being committed by India.
The President of Azad Kashmir stated that after the incident in Pahalgam, India’s lies have been exposed to the world. He called on Kashmiris in the UK to raise the Kashmir issue on an international level and to respond robustly to India’s conspiracies.
The President stressed the need to support the right of selfdetermination for Kashmiris as per United Nations resolutions. He noted that Kashmiris in the UK have consistently highlighted the Kashmir issue effectively, and now the time has come to awaken the global conscience.
The President of Azad Kashmir also discussed the political situation in Azad Kashmir during a meeting with former Overseas Advisor Chaudhry Shaiban. Chaudhry Shaiban expressed gratitude to the President for the development projects in Mirpur.
