An elderly man ended his life due to distress from poverty and domestic issues near Naushahro Feroze, police said today.
This tragic incident took place in the village of Dali within the jurisdiction of Bharia City Police Station.
According to the police, 59yearold Abdul Rahman Kalhoro committed suicide by hanging himself due to unemployment, inflation, and the illness of his young child. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene, completed the legal formalities, and handed over the body to the family.
The police have started an investigation and were taking steps to examine further aspects of the incident. Abdul Rahman Kalhoro’s extreme action has brought a state of mourning to the village.
