The SSP Traffic District City has taken strict notice of the viral video showing police constable Muhammad Aurangzeb accepting a bribe from a motorcyclist within the jurisdiction of the Mithadar Traffic Section.
The constable has been suspended and ordered to report to the SSP Traffic City Office, and further inquiry has been directed.
The SSP adopted a firm stance on this issue, stating that stringent action will be taken against officers tarnishing the police department’s reputation.
The spokesperson for SSP Traffic police further clarified that strict measures will be implemented to maintain the department’s transparency and integrity.
