Gold Prices Soar, Silver Sees Modest Increase

Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed an unprecedented surge on Tuesday, with the price of one tola of 24-karat gold increasing by Rs. 6,600 to reach Rs. 356,800. This significant increase reflects the rising prices in the global precious metals market.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw an increase of Rs. 5,658, reaching Rs. 305,898. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs. 5,186 to Rs. 280,416.

These rising domestic prices mirror international developments, where the per-ounce price of gold increased by $66, closing at $3,348.

Silver exhibited a similar trend, with the price of one tola of 24-karat silver rising by Rs. 52 to close at Rs. 3,834. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver also increased by Rs. 45, closing at Rs. 3,287.

Global silver markets also reflected this upward trend, as the per-ounce price increased by $0.52, reaching $36.50.
