Preparations for Milad and Naat gathering for women at Governor House Karachi, Mehfil-e-Samaa arranged

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori announced the holding of Milad-un-Nabi ? celebrations specifically for women at Governor House Karachi next week, following a grand Mehfil-e-Samaa held last Thursday to mark the completion of 1500 years of the birth of Prophet Muhammad ?.

The Mehfil-e-Samaa, which expressed immense devotion and reverence for the Holy Prophet ?, was attended by MQM Pakistan Chairman and Federal Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, senior party leaders Dr. Farooq Sattar, Nasreen Jalil, Aminul Haq, assembly members, and other distinguished guests. Renowned qawals, including Najmuddin Saifuddin and Brothers, Farid Ayaz, Abu Muhammad, and Ali Zaman Zaki Taji, captivated the audience with their spiritual music.

Twelve attendees, six women and six men, were awarded Umrah tickets through a lucky draw conducted by Governor Tessori. The lucky individuals included Nilofar Ishaq, Samira Shaib, Bibi Ghulam Fatima, Rafia Javed, Saba Farhat Iqbal, Sanam Aziz, Zaheer Khan, Muhammad Taqi, Shahid Iqbal, Ghulam Farid, and Ghulam Nabi.

Expressing gratitude for the honor of hosting the 1500th Milad celebrations, Governor Tessori termed his appointment on this significant occasion a divine blessing. He pledged to continue such events during his tenure and emphasized the importance of following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ?, whose sacrifices spread the message of Islam and whose blessings continue to illuminate lives.

Reiterating his commitment to serving the people, the Governor declared that Governor House is open to all citizens. He highlighted initiatives such as providing IT training to numerous children and distributing essential goods, motorcycles, and laptops to the needy. He prayed for relief from hardships, forgiveness of sins, and adherence to the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ?.
