Finality of Prophethood Day was observed with zeal and fervor across Pakistan. The Jamaat Ahle Sunnat paid tribute to the elders who sacrificed, struggled, and led the Finality of Prophethood movements in 1952 and 1974.
Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Shirazi lauded the services of Maulana Abdul Sattar Khan Niazi and Maulana Khalil Ahmad Qadri, who were sentenced to death for participating in the 1952 protests. Tributes were also paid to Maulana Mahmud Ahmad Rizvi, who was the chief organizer of the 1974 movement.
Speakers praised Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani Siddiqui for presenting the unanimous definition of a Muslim and lauded the parliament’s resolution declaring Ahmadis as non-Muslims. They also highlighted the illuminating roles of Maulana Abdul Mustafa Al-Azhari, Maulana Muhammad Ali Rizvi, and Maulana Muhammad Zakir in the debates with Mirza Nasir in the National Assembly, which resulted in the official declaration of Qadianis as a non-Muslim minority.
