A massive fire broke out in a warehouse near Mama Food in Manzoor Colony Sector C, prompting a large-scale response from emergency services. Fire Brigade and Rescue 1122 immediately requested assistance from the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC).
On the CEO’s orders, KWSC immediately implemented an emergency at the Nipa Hydrant and dispatched water tankers to extinguish the fire. The hydrant cell staff is in contact with the fire and rescue personnel, while a representative appointed by the MD is present at the site to monitor the operation.
A continuous supply of water is being ensured to aid the fire brigade’s operations, and KWSC is providing full cooperation to the fire brigade. Water tankers will remain at the scene until the fire is completely extinguished.
