Islamabad police officers serving as Head Constables have been promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in a ceremony attended by senior officials, a police report said today.
DG Safe City/ DIG Headquarters Muhammad Haroon Joya and Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Capt. (retd) Hamzah Humayun pinned the new ranks to the promoted personnel.
Joya congratulated the officers and conveyed well wishes for their careers, emphasizing the increased responsibility that accompanies advancement. He noted that Islamabad IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has mandated promotions for all open positions.
The DG attributed the advancements to the officers” commitment and diligence, acknowledging divine favor in their achievement. He urged them to approach their new roles with heightened dedication and professionalism, making the department proud.
