Concern over suspension of mobile and internet services in Azad Kashmir: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Kashmir

President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Kashmir and former Prime Minister, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, has raised serious objections over the suspension of mobile and internet services in the region. He termed the move a part of a larger strategy to suppress the public rights movement in Azad Kashmir.

The former Prime Minister questioned the competence of the current leadership, alleging that they are pushing the traditionally peaceful region towards chaos. He noted the growing anxiety among overseas Kashmiris, who are increasingly concerned about the well-being of their families.

Niazi demanded the immediate restoration of communication services, stressing that grievances should be resolved through dialogue rather than force. He clarified that unrest is unacceptable under any circumstances and urged the authorities to adopt a more conciliatory approach.
