To address pressing health issues, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Naeem Khan presided over a crucial District Health Committee (DHC) meeting in Duki on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by key health officials, including District Health Officer Bahadur Khan Loni and Deputy District Health Officer Nasibullah Loni, aimed at the urgent revitalization of local health services.
The meeting conducted a comprehensive review of the progress since the last DHC meeting, which included a rigorous review of field visit reports and written actions. Key assessments were based on the performance of the District Headquarters Hospital, Rural Health Centers, Basic Health Units, Civil Dispensaries, and Maternal and Child Health Centers.
To enhance the delivery of health services, extensive discussions were held on the performance of vertical programs and the functionality of facilities and services. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for quality, transparency, and effective operations in the health sector. He directed officials to improve the availability of medical facilities, ensure the supply of essential medicines, and enhance staff performance. Any instance of illegal practice or poor performance will be met with strict corrective measures, with a commitment to regular follow-ups for future improvements.
