Provincial Minister for Auqaf, Ushr, Zakat, and Religious Affairs, Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi, visited Civil Hospital Makli on Wednesday. During the visit, the minister met with patients under treatment and obtained necessary information about the quality of available medical services.
The minister conducted a detailed inspection of various hospital departments, including the emergency ward, outpatient department, laboratory, and specialized units. The purpose of his inspection of existing health services was to identify opportunities for improvement. Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi urged the hospital administration to take all necessary measures to enhance patient treatment facilities.
Speaking to the media, the provincial minister reiterated the Sindh government’s commitment to raising the standard of healthcare. He emphasized the importance of equipping hospitals with modern medical equipment, ensuring the supply of quality medicines, and appointing trained medical staff to provide residents with the best health services locally.
During the minister’s visit, hospital officials, including the Medical Superintendent, doctors, and other staff, were also present.
