Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has termed the Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference a significant event expected to open new doors for investment, create significant employment opportunities, and strengthen maritime trade links with countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Participating in the international event on Monday, the chief minister described the maritime expo as crucial for the country’s economy and a key driver for creating new jobs.
Shah called PIMEC a significant opportunity for Karachi, predicting that the gathering would serve as a catalyst for the city’s future development.
He added that the development of the maritime sector would bring extensive benefits to both Sindh province and the country.
The chief minister mentioned the participation of prominent national and international business leaders from the maritime industry in the conference and exhibition.
Syed Murad Ali Shah also reiterated the provincial government’s unwavering commitment to the promotion and development of maritime trade.
