A total of 22 people were injured in Naushehro Feroze on Wednesday as a result of violent clashes and a road accident. These incidents have raised alarm bells regarding public safety and law enforcement in the area.
In a tragic incident on Mehran Highway, Muhammad Juman, son of Mureed Shar, was injured when he was hit by a speeding vehicle near MCB Bank. The driver responsible for the accident fled the scene, leaving the injured pedestrian, who was from the village of Ustad Karam Ali Shar. He was moved to a local medical center for treatment, while authorities continue to search for the fugitive driver.
Meanwhile, several individuals were injured in two separate violent clashes between community groups. The first confrontation occurred in Gondai Pato within the jurisdiction of the Akri Police Station. A heated dispute over right-of-way in a street led to a severe brawl among members of the Rajpar community. Armed with axes, sticks, and bricks, the clash left 11 people, including women, injured and in need of medical attention.
Another violent confrontation took place in the village of Haji Faiz Muhammad Khaskheli, under the jurisdiction of the Thari Mirwah Police Station. The fight stemmed from a dispute over the ownership of agricultural land, resulting in injuries to 10 members of the Jogi community.
Law enforcement officials have initiated investigations into these incidents and have deployed personnel to maintain peace and order on the disputed land.
