The body of a 20-year-old married woman was mysteriously recovered from inside the Hub River water pipeline on Wednesday, prompting a police investigation.
The deceased has been identified as Zahra, wife of Owais.
According to information provided by the Edhi Foundation, their rescue workers participated in the body retrieval operation.
The body was retrieved and transferred via an Edhi ambulance to Hub Civil Hospital for necessary medico-legal procedures.
The cause of death has not yet been determined and further investigation is awaited.
Officials at the Hub Height Police Station have taken notice of the incident and initiated formal proceedings in the matter.
