The domestic bullion market saw a significant surge on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola increasing by Rs 1,200 to Rs 443,062, reflecting a continued bullish trend in precious metals.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 1,029, with the new price becoming Rs 379,854. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also recorded an increase of Rs 934, closing at Rs 348,212.
The silver market also followed a bullish trend similar to gold. The price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs 265, with its new price recorded at Rs 6,367. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver rose by Rs 227 to Rs 5,458.
This adjustment in local prices is in line with changes in the international market, where the price of gold per ounce increased by $12, reaching $4,207. Concurrently, the value of silver globally increased by $2.65, reaching $60.95 per ounce.
