Anti-Polio Campaign Inaugurated at Ghotki DHQ Hospital, Vaccination Target Set for 400,000 Children

Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Manzoor Ahmed Kunrani today inaugurated the anti-polio campaign at DHQ Hospital and participated in an awareness rally aimed at administering polio drops to 400,000 children.

This campaign will run from December 15 to 21, during which health teams will go door-to-door to administer polio drops.

The Deputy Commissioner issued strict instructions to the mobile teams to work door-to-door to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Furthermore, Mr. Kunrani directed that field monitoring of the polio teams be made effective to ensure the complete and successful completion of the campaign.

The district’s top officer also appealed to all parents to fully cooperate with the visiting health workers.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized this important public health goal, stating, “It is essential to administer drops to every child for the complete eradication of polio.”
