Young Leaders Conference Urges Shift Towards Ethical Leadership

The second day of the Young Leaders Conference (YLC) 2025 centered on the theme ‘Manifesting Social Stewardship,’ challenging participants to apply personal development toward fostering sustainable community-level change and ethical leadership.

According to a statement today, the day’s proceedings began with discussions on collective responsibility, followed by a session titled ‘Leaders as Stewards’ delivered by Mr. Kamran Z. Rizvi. The segment focused on the core principles of integrity, empathy, and long-term strategic thinking as vital components of social development.

A panel discussion, “Beyond the Obvious,” featured established changemakers who demonstrated how fields such as innovation, media, enterprise, and art can be leveraged as effective instruments for societal benefit.

Attendees later participated in practical exercises, including the ‘Design Your Ecosystem’ and the ‘World Café of Social Enterprises.’ These activities were structured to facilitate collaboration between the aspiring leaders and various impact-driven organizations operating at the grassroots level.

Concluding the day’s agenda, a series of interactive workshops covered topics ranging from wellbeing and changemaking to life-saving skills and the application of AI for Social Innovation. These sessions aimed to reinforce the conference’s emphasis on responsible governance and the creation of durable solutions.
