Pakistan’s humanitarian assistance for the people of Palestine has now surpassed 2,600 tons, as the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) dispatched its 27th relief consignment on Wednesday, reaffirming the nation’s steadfast support amid the ongoing crisis.

The latest aid package, weighing 100 tons, was airlifted from Allama Iqbal International Airport. This relief effort was organized on the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and carried out with the support of the Alkhidmat Foundation.

This specific shipment contains essential supplies to address the urgent needs of the affected population. The cargo includes vital items such as blankets, tarpaulins, clothing, along with hygiene and family kits designed for immediate distribution.

A formal sending-off ceremony was held at the airport, attended by Punjab Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman and Punjab Housing Minister Mian Bilal Yasin, who were present as chief guests. Senior officials from the NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives from the Alkhidmat Foundation also attended the event.

With the departure of this flight, the cumulative volume of aid provided by Pakistan has reached a total of 2,627 tons. This demonstrates a consistent commitment to alleviating the humanitarian situation in Palestine.
