Rural Health Center in Quetta, non-functional for 12 years, restored, DC inaugurates

Deputy Commissioner Quetta formally inaugurated the construction and renovation of the Rural Health Center (RHC) Samli, aimed at restoring essential medical services for the residents of Samli.

The Rural Health Center (RHC) Samli, which had been non-functional since 2012, was inaugurated on Sunday by Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini. Member of Provincial Assembly Malik Naeem Bazai, District Health Officer (DHO) Quetta, and officers from the IDO also attended the ceremony.

The comprehensive restoration of the center was completed through a joint initiative of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, DHO, and IDO. The renovation project included the construction of new rooms and the re-establishment of basic health services to better serve the local population.

Following the inauguration ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed inspection of the various departments of the RHC. He met with the center’s staff and issued directives to ensure the provision of high-quality and prompt medical care to the public.

Mr. Badini stated that the revival and improvement of public welfare projects is the top priority of the district administration. He expressed a commitment that efforts to bring further improvements to the health sector will continue.
