The nation’s economy is moving in a positive direction as a result of the prudent economic strategies of the current administration, Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, stated today.
Addressing a ceremony in Narowal, the planning minister emphasised that the government is implementing effective measures for the advancement and welfare of the farming community.
Mr Iqbal highlighted the pivotal role of the agriculture sector, describing it as key to the overall development of the country.
Shifting his focus to national security, the minister remarked that the defence of Pakistan is in secure hands.
He acknowledged the unparalleled sacrifices being rendered by the country’s security forces in the ongoing war on terror. The minister also paid salute to the labourers who worked tirelessly in flood-stricken areas, commending their efforts in the assistance and safe evacuation of affected people.
