Pasban-e-Watan Pakistan’s Central President Muhammad Tahir Khokhar has called for action against individuals operating from abroad whom he labeled as “traitors” for allegedly conspiring against Pakistan and its army chief. In a statement, the former Minister for Tourism and Transport described such elements as “enemies of Pakistan” and said that the entire nation must unite and stand with the state and armed forces of Pakistan.
Terming terrorism a “cancer,” on Sunday Khokhar stressed that the entire nation must unite with the state and Pakistan’s armed forces to eradicate this menace from its roots. He said that no amount of condemnation is enough for the recent incidents of terrorism in the country.
He paid tribute to the “great sacrifices” of the Pakistan Army and security agencies in the war against terrorism, vowing that their efforts would not go in vain. The political leader warned that anti-state elements, their facilitators, and others working behind the scenes would soon have to “fully account” for their actions.
Emphasizing that there could be no compromise on the nation’s security, sovereignty, and defense, Khokhar affirmed that the public and the army would stand together like a “rock-solid wall” if any sacrifice were required.
He stated that the Pakistan Army “resides in the hearts of the nation,” enjoying the unwavering trust and love of the people. Describing the current army chief as “brave, wise, and fearless,” he attributed the enemy’s fear of Pakistan to the professional capabilities of the armed forces. He stressed that the army is fully prepared to give a “befitting response” to any aggression, even if it means “entering their homes.”
Khokhar further warned of enemy conspiracies aimed at weakening Pakistan internally by spreading chaos, unrest, and hatred. He termed those spreading instability as “tools of the enemy” and insisted that the public must “completely reject” them.
The Central President of Pasban-e-Watan Pakistan made a fervent appeal, urging the public to express complete solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan, “strengthen the hands of their army,” and defeat any destabilizing forces. He concluded by saying that his organization, along with the entire country, stands “shoulder to shoulder” with the army for the nation’s defense and will continue its unwavering support in the ongoing war against terrorism.
