Machinery prepared for snow removal from roads in Murree, decision to maintain traffic flow at all costs

To prevent traffic jams in Murree, authorities have issued directives to keep heavy machinery operational for the immediate clearance of roads during the winter season.

The decision was made during a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat on Wednesday, chaired by the Chief Secretary, which was held specifically to review preparations for the famous hill station.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner of Murree gave a comprehensive briefing, confirming that all necessary equipment for snow removal is prepared and on standby for immediate deployment.

To assist tourists, a network of thirteen facilitation centers has been established throughout the area to provide guidance and assistance to tourists.

Furthermore, a special control room has also been activated to ensure round-the-clock monitoring of the evolving situation and to coordinate response efforts effectively.
