On the main road of Kati Pahari Block Q, police arrested a robber in an injured condition after an encounter, while his accomplice escaped.
This incident occurred on July 11 when the police exchanged fire with two suspected robbers. During the shooting, a person identified as Nauman son of Imran was arrested in an injured condition. The police recovered a pistol, bullets, and a motorcycle from the scene.
Nauman was immediately transferred to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment via Edhi Ambulance. Authorities continue to search for Nauman’s accomplice, who managed to escape during the commotion.
Shara-e-Noor Jahan Police Station, which is located in the central district, is leading the investigation of this incident. The police are examining the recovered items for more information in search of the escaping suspect.
During the investigation, the police are appealing to the public to provide any information that could assist in the immediate arrest of the fugitive.
