Members of the National Assembly of MQM Pakistan today expressed concern over the recent increase in petroleum product prices, which they are calling another economic blow to the already inflation-stricken public. They are demanding that the government reconsider and reverse this decision to alleviate the financial burden on the public.
MQM legislators say that the increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, and electricity is further exacerbating the difficulties of the public. They state that the government’s claim of combating inflation is clearly contradicted by the recent increase in petroleum prices.
According to MQM representatives, the increase in petroleum prices will lead to higher costs for essential goods, transportation, and business activities. They warn that this situation will further add to the economic issues faced by the public.
MQM Pakistan demands the immediate reversal of the price increase, emphasizing the need to provide relief to the public already facing the pressure of inflation. They insist that such decisions will further deepen the economic hardships faced by citizens.
