Pakistan and Russia are exploring extensive collaborations in vaccine production and medical technology, following a high-level meeting in the capital aimed at fortifying the national health sector.
According to a report on Tuesday, the discussions took place between Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal and Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, the Pakistani Ambassador to Russia, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation in healthcare.
The dialogue covered a range of prospective partnerships, including the pharmaceutical trade and advancements in medical education. Both officials underscored the importance of improving public health systems and advocating for joint initiatives at an international level.
Key areas of focus also included establishing technical cooperation with Russian health institutions, facilitating an exchange of expertise, and creating training opportunities for Pakistani medical professionals.
