Pakistan and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) today explored avenues for deepening their partnership, following a high-level meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and ICRC President Mirjana Spoljaric Egger in Davos, Switzerland.
The significant discussions took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, an influential global gathering of leaders from government, business, and civil society.
During their dialogue, the two officials deliberated on the existing state of Pakistan-ICRC cooperation, which covers a diverse range of areas.
The meeting also served as a platform for an exchange of views on tangible strategies for enhancing and further strengthening this collaboration, with a focus on matters of mutual interest and future joint efforts.
