The Kotli-Nakyal Road has been reopened for all traffic following a significant rescue and relief operation by the Pakistan Army to assist citizens stranded by severe snowfall in the region.
According to an official report on Sunday, military personnel conducted operations in the areas of Jandrott and Pir Nasoorah, clearing the route and enabling the resumption of vehicular movement after it was blocked by the adverse weather.
Humanitarian aid, including food and other essential supplies, was distributed to the affected population. In Pir Nasoorah, a number of families were evacuated from their locations and provided with necessary support.
The operation also included logistical support for motorists, with army units supplying petrol to multiple vehicles that had become immobilised due to the heavy snowfall.
The intervention has led to the restoration of crucial ground transportation links in the area, allowing for a return to normal life following the disruption caused by the inclement weather.
