More than 200 national and multinational corporations from a wide array of industries gathered at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) for its Annual Career Fair 2026, marking a significant recruitment drive aimed at securing top-tier graduate talent.

According to IBA information on Sunday, held at the institution’s main campus, the event, themed “Fuel Your Future,” was designed to empower students to take control of their professional trajectories by exploring various career avenues and engaging directly with potential employers.

A broad spectrum of sectors was represented, including banking, financial services, energy, information technology, and manufacturing. Representatives from the pharmaceuticals, logistics, retail, media, and consulting industries were also present to interact with the student body.

In a video address, Dr. S Akbar Zaidi, the Executive Director of IBA, extended his gratitude to the participating organisations for their sustained partnership. He underscored the high calibre, professionalism, and potential of the institute”s students, expressing confidence that employers would find the engagement with the emerging talent both encouraging and rewarding.

A key feature of the fair was the inclusion of interactive sessions, such as mentorship lounges. These dedicated spaces allowed students to receive one-on-one career guidance from seasoned industry professionals, facilitating a deeper understanding of their individual strengths and professional interests.

The event also included remarks from other notable figures, including Syed Atif Murtaza Qaiser of the IBA School of Business Studies. Senior representatives from the National Bank of Pakistan, Meezan Bank, and Pak Suzuki Motors also contributed their perspectives.
