Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday strongly denounced recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan, asserting that “Indian-backed terrorists” are being taken to their logical conclusion.
In a formal statement issued from the CM House, Mr Shah declared that the outstanding achievements of the security forces serve as a guarantee of peace in the country and noted that they have rendered countless sacrifices for the motherland.
Paying rich tribute to the martyrs, the Chief Minister said he salutes the “supreme sacrifices of the brave sons of the soil” who laid down their lives for the security of Pakistan.
He stated that the time has come to uproot the scourge of terrorism from the country once and for all, adding that Pakistan’s armed forces have decisively pushed back the militants and thwarted their nefarious designs.
Appreciating the proficiency of the security establishment, Murad Ali Shah said that no enemy can sabotage tranquility in the nation. He praised the forces for successfully foiling terrorist assaults and affirmed that their professional excellence merits the highest appreciation.
The Chief Minister identified lasting peace in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as the ultimate destination and a principal priority of the state.
Syed Murad Ali Shah also commended Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti for standing firmly with his people and institutions during this difficult period, observing that elected leadership acts as a shield for the public in times of crisis.
He reaffirmed that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its brave security personnel and remains united under the country’s political leadership.
