The Pakistan SADC Chamber Trade Federation (PSCTF) has announced its new central and provincial leadership for the 2026-2027 term, tasking the cabinet with promoting trade and investment between Pakistan and Southern African nations, with a significant new focus on digital commerce.
In a statement today, Founder Chairman Muhammad Rafiq Memon emphasised the vital importance of the Pakistan Chapter in realising the federation”s core aims. While congratulating the new appointees, he expressed his expectation that the team would play a dynamic role in enhancing commercial ties and ensuring the PSCTF effectively serves its manifesto.
The central cabinet of the Pakistan Chapter will be led by Mumtaz Khan Yousafzai as President. He will be supported by Syed Moizuddin as Senior Vice President, Ikramullah Jan as General Secretary, and Sheikh Muhammad Ejaz as Vice President.
Leadership appointments were also confirmed for the provincial chapters. The new presidents include Shehzada Khurram for Islamabad, Khawaja Faiq Kaleem for Punjab, Muhammad Shoaib Qadri for Sindh, and Engineer Khalifa Khan for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Noor Afshan Baloch has been named President for the Balochistan chapter, and Raja Sher Afghan will head the Kashmir chapter.
In a notable appointment, Noor Afshan Baloch will also preside over the federation”s Women Wing. She is joined by Senior Vice President Aleena Ejaz, who additionally serves as General Secretary and Senior Vice President of the Punjab Women Wing.
Underscoring a strategic shift towards modernisation, Syed Salman Shah has been appointed as the federation”s Director of Technology and Digital Trade. His role will be pivotal in strengthening trade linkages through e-commerce, online business platforms, and other contemporary technologies.
The federation, composed of prominent figures from Pakistan’s trade and industrial sectors, stated that the new leadership is expected to play an effective part in bolstering economic relations and contributing to national growth.
