Top Cop Orders Heightened Vigilance to Quell Any Disturbance in the capital

In a move to ensure the security of the federal capital, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq today instructed the Islamabad Police to remain in a state of high readiness to manage any potential law and order situation, vowing that no disturbance to public peace will be tolerated.

The directive was issued during an inspection tour of various duty points across the city, where the DIG, accompanied by senior police officials, met with officers and other personnel. He commended the force for their excellent performance and offered words of encouragement.

Reinforcing the police”s commitment, he asserted that the force would employ all available resources to safeguard the lives, property, and public or private assets of the citizenry. The DIG underscored that all necessary measures would be implemented to prevent any disruption to the tranquillity of the capital.

Specific instructions were issued for senior police officers to thoroughly brief their respective teams on protocols for handling emergent situations. They were also tasked with personally inspecting all duty deployments to guarantee that all assigned officers and officials are fully equipped.

Furthermore, senior officers are required to visit different areas of the city to ensure these directives are strictly followed.
