Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono have agreed to collaborate closely towards achieving a just and comprehensive peace in Palestine, following discussions on the critical situation in Gaza and the West Bank during a meeting here.
According to a report by MOIB today, the two high-level dignitaries exchanged views on pressing regional and global developments, committing to a joint effort for a lasting Palestinian settlement that aligns with international law and pertinent United Nations resolutions.
The meeting also served as a platform to review the broader bilateral relationship, with both ministers expressing their contentment with the depth and strength of the historic, fraternal connection between their respective nations.
Recalling recent diplomatic engagements, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the significance of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto”s successful visit to Pakistan in December of the previous year.
Mr Dar underscored that the presidential visit provided a renewed momentum for mutual cooperation, reflecting the steady progress achieved in their partnership over the decades.
