A significant decrease in the prices of precious metals was recorded in the local bullion market on Monday, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by 1,800 rupees to become 522,762 rupees.
This downward trend was also seen in other scales, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by 1,543 rupees to become 448,184 rupees. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by 1,414 rupees to become 410,850 rupees.
The value of gold also decreased at the global level, in the international market, the price fell by 18 dollars to become 5,000 dollars per ounce.
The silver market could not remain safe from the bearish trend and its value also declined. The price of one tola of 24-karat silver decreased by 100 rupees to become 8,441 rupees.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver decreased by 86 rupees to become 7,236 rupees.
At the international level, silver prices decreased by 1.00 dollar, after which silver closed at 79.57 dollars per ounce.
