A rare day was observed in the local gold market, where the values of both gold and silver remained completely stable, mirroring a similar lack of movement in international markets.
On Saturday during the day’s trading, the per tola price of 24-karat gold remained at Rs 490,362. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold was stable at Rs 420,406.
The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw no change, remaining at Rs 385,386.
This stability was also seen in silver prices, where the per tola price of 24-karat silver saw no change at Rs 7,794. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver also closed without any change at Rs 6,682.
This stability in prices in the local market was directly in line with the international scene, where the global gold price was stagnant at $4,676. The international silver price also recorded no change, with its value remaining stable at $73.10.
