Iqbal Market Police in Karachi West on Monday took a suspect involved in vehicle theft into custody, recovering a stolen motorcycle allegedly used by him.
The suspect was identified by authorities as Asif alias Chikna, who was detained by law enforcement personnel in District West during a routine snap-check. The motorcycle in the suspect’s possession was taken into police custody.
Following the initial arrest and proceedings, the suspect will be handed over to the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell.
Specialized officials of the AVLC will now conduct further investigation and initiate the required legal action against the detained individual.
