An 85-year-old individual was burned on Wednesday afternoon as a result of a sudden gas cylinder explosion at the Agriculture Complex near Gudu Chowk. The incident spread widespread fear and concern among those present.
The elderly victim, identified as Arif, was caught in the blast, which occurred due to a gas cylinder leak at the location also known as Agriculture Plaza.
Upon receiving news of the incident, emergency services, including Rescue 1122 personnel and local police, immediately arrived at the scene.
Arif was immediately transferred to the Civil Hospital’s burns ward for urgent medical attention. The loud sound of the explosion created distress and concern among those inside the complex, highlighting the unexpected nature of this unfortunate incident.
