Following a gas leakage incident in an ice factory in Shorkot, three people have tragically lost their lives, while emergency services have attributed possible negligence as a cause.
This fatal incident occurred on Wednesday at a manufacturing unit located near the bypass. Upon receiving the information, the Rescue 1122 team immediately responded and arrived at the scene.
Emergency personnel immediately initiated operations and successfully extracted all three victims from inside the building. It was confirmed that, unfortunately, all three individuals had died on the spot.
The deceased individuals are being transferred to THQ Hospital Shorkot for further proceedings. According to sources from the rescue operation, the cause of this devastating incident was gas leakage along with negligence.
