The Balochistan Grand Alliance (BGA) today finalised a charter of demands, including the crucial Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA), which it plans to present to the Balochistan Chief Minister in an upcoming meeting. The alliance also outlined a comprehensive strategy for province-wide employee mobilisation.
During a Core Committee meeting held in Quetta, under the chairmanship of Central Organiser Professor Abdul Quddus Kakar, the BGA thoroughly discussed its current performance and future action plan. The meeting took place at the Directorate of Education on Shawaksha Road, as confirmed by a statement from General Secretary Haji Ali Asghar Bangulzai.
A key decision involved organising grand conventions for employees across all divisions of the province. These gatherings aim to strengthen the Grand Alliance”s organisational structure and further mobilise its members.
Furthermore, a strategy was devised to implement the Federal Constitutional Court”s ruling concerning the deceased employee quota. Letters are set to be dispatched to relevant authorities to ensure the decision”s enforcement.
The Core Committee also lauded the Grand Alliance”s ongoing movement, commending the dedication of employees and paying tribute to the sacrifices made by leaders, cadres, and workers throughout the BGA”s struggle.
