Today, a significant increase was observed in the prices of gold and silver, reflecting an important change in the precious metals market.
The price of gold increased by 1,100 rupees per tola, reaching a new high of 433,536 rupees. Similarly, the price of ten grams of gold increased by 943 rupees, now standing at 371,687 rupees. This increase in the local market is aligned with global trends, where the price of an ounce of gold increased by 11 dollars, reaching 4,111 dollars.
The price of silver also increased, although the increase was less than that of gold. The price of one tola of silver increased by 30 rupees, reaching 6,462 rupees, while the price of ten grams of silver increased by 26 rupees, now selling at 5,540 rupees. In the international market, the price of silver reached 59.83 dollars per ounce.
