Former Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani has passed away. President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep sorrow on his passing.
In a heartfelt message, President Zardari expressed condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the government, and the people of Qatar. He praised the insightful leadership of the late Emir, which played a significant role in the development and prosperity of Qatar, as well as in regional peace and cooperation.
Furthermore, President Zardari prayed for the late Emir, hoping that Allah Almighty grants him a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. He also prayed for patience and strength for the late Emir’s family and the Qatari people during this difficult time.
